Ladies Adios, has established themselves as one of the top influential Female Dance Crews within the underground Hip Hop community.
Ladies Adios is female operated, consisting of six members from different backgrounds of the World, with members from Poland, New Jersey, Montreal, Colorado, and Ohio. The crew met in New York City through their love of breakdance (Bgirling), but come from diverse dance backgrounds in, Waacking, Salsa, Burlesque, Zumba, House, Hip Hop, and Hustle Partner dance. Additionally, members have professional experience in Poetry, Acting, Comedy, Burlesque, and Holistic Fitness. Since 2016, crew members have consistently created regular weekly open practices in NYC, travel abroad to judge competitions, host dance workshops, and participate in events and battles around the world. The ladies also host events with an annual fundraiser, A Jam Called Tribe, with +200 guests, DJ’s, Dance competitors, Fashion contests, community organization speakers, and overall raising over $5,000 in their past three events. Some of the crew's supporting causes have been for Puerto Rico Hurricane relief in 2017, Cancer Road To Recovery for DJ Rogue, New Jersey Humane Society - the first no-kill animal shelter in 2018, and a women's shelter in Brooklyn by CAMBA in 2019.
We’ve traveled to Colorado for Queenz of Hip Hop, a weekend long All Styles dance event that has workshops and dance battles. Cypher Adikts by Jeskilz, a 4 hour long dance party that reinforces the freestyle dance community and open battle format.
Our favorite events have been weekly dance parties at Soul In the Horn, NYC’s hottest dance party with live DJ’s, musical performances, and singers, curated by D Prosper and DJ Natasha Diggs where we show up and open up the dance floor and engage in social dance.
One thing we are really excited about is supporting women in dance and creating a divine space for women, men, and all to see the power inside our physical and musical expression. This, we believe, is a launching point for more connection and peace in relationships and equality through music and dance. We are here to empower people within our underground dance culture, and share what we do with visiting artists and guests at our events.
